For we saw his star when it rose and we have come to worship him.’” — Matthew 2:1-2 1. Who are the wise men? “Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem…” — Matthew 2:1 “There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. In the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him and King Nebuchadnezzar, your father—your father the king—made him chief of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers…” — Daniel 5:11 2. What did the wise men do? “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews?
